Los Angeles, CA — July 13, 2020 — Village Roadshow Pictures has acquired LEGACY based on an original idea by T.J. Fixman. David Goyer and Keith Levine will produce via Phantom Four Films.
Legacy is a character-driven action film in the vein of THE BOURNE IDENTITY.
Legacy is the second project for Phantom Four and Fixman, as Phantom Four is also producing ROGUE for STX. Fixman’s previous credits include PAST MIDNIGHT (Netflix), ONE NIGHT ON THE HUDSON (Universal), BROTHERHOOD OF MAGIC (MGM), THE MEN WHO KILL (Fox), RATCHET & CLANK. He is represented by Grandview.
Phantom Four, founded by David S. Goyer and run by president Keith Levine, specializes in high-concept elevated genre fare for both film and television. Upcoming releases include two at Searchlight Pictures: the Scott Cooper-directed ANTLERS produced by Guillermo Del Toro and Sundance acquisition THE NIGHT HOUSE directed by David Bruckner. Also coming is THE TOMORROW WAR starring Chris Pratt from Paramount and Skydance. In addition they have a HELLRAISER reboot set at Spyglass, action/thriller ROGUE at STX (also with Fixman), an OMEN prequel at 20th Century Studios and the Stephen King/Joe Hill adaptation THROTTLE at HBO Max. Goyer is also currently serving as showrunner on FOUNDATION for Apple/Skydance and is also co-writing and producing the upcoming SANDMAN for Netflix with Neil Gaiman.
