Kevin Garnett’s Content Cartel is partnering with Village Roadshow Television, Happy Madison Productions and Blowback Productions to develop the story of the legendary Lo Lifes. The scripted series will be executive produced by Kevin Garnett, Matt Mosko, Marc Levin, and Victor “Thirstin Howl The 3rd” DeJesus.
The Lo Lifes are the Brooklyn street crew founded by Big Vic Lo PKA Thirstin Howl The 3rd that gained popularity in the late 80s and “boosted” designer labels from Tri-state department stores and helped spark the urban fashion phenomenon. From their creation to their global expansion, the Lo Lifes captured the genesis of the subversive hip-hop spirit in a totally original fashion and were the original influencers.
Garnett most recently starred in UNCUT GEMS.
