Los Angeles, CA – February 27, 2023 – Cutting Edge Media Music, (CEMM), a division of parent company Cutting Edge Group, (CEG), and a leading financing and investment company with expertise in music for film, television, video games and more, has formed a strategic music venture with Village Roadshow Entertainment Group (VREG), that will encompass all of VREG’s past and future music publishing assets, soundtrack album releases and music supervision services throughout their entertainment group including film, scripted and unscripted television.
Brian McNelis, also the head of CEMM unit Lakeshore Records, will oversee the venture along with Lakeshore’s Eric Craig who will provide music supervision and music department support across the VREG slate. For VREG, COO Louis Santor will lead in implementing all aspects of the deal.
Current film and TV titles from VREG include CINNAMON and MURDER CITY, part of their Black Noir Cinema initiative with Kevin Garnett’s Content Cartel and Fox’s free streaming platform, Tubi. Also included is the Capital One College Bowl hosted by Peyton and Cooper Manning, that recently aired its second season on NBC.
