October 18, 2021 – Los Angeles – Village Roadshow Entertainment Group (VREG), announced today a partnership with iconic NBA Champion – Hall of Famer – All Star MVP Kevin Garnett’s Content Cartel Studios. Garnett and his partners, Brian Bennett, and Mike Marangu will develop and produce impactive and thought-provoking content for global audiences. The new partnership includes a first-look development deal for scripted and unscripted projects for television, film and digital.
One of the first projects under partnership will be a feature documentary on Hall of Famer “Wilt the Stilt” Chamberlain; who scored over 30,000 points in his career and one of the NBA 50 greatest players of all time. In 1962 Chamberlain became the only player to this day to score 100 points in a single NBA game he did this in 1962 and he has won two NBA Championships. The documentary will be directed by Gotham Chopra from Religion of Sports, and produced by Content Cartel, Heeltap Entertainment and Happy Madison.

About Kevin Garnett
Garnett is a Hall of Fame professional basketball player who started his historic career in the NBA when he was drafted in 1995 by the Minnesota Timberwolves. Known as the first player since 1975 to be drafted directly out of high school and had an era-altering impact on the sport, playing for the Timberwolves, Boston Celtics, and Brooklyn Nets.
