Village Roadshow Television is partnering with acclaimed actor, writer, director and producer Bryan Cranston and Emmy nominated producer James Degus, via Cranston’s Moonshot Entertainment, to source, develop and produce television content for all available distribution platforms. The alliance pairs Moonshot’s holistic view of content creation with Village Roadshow’s depth of creative resources to bring audiences elevated content across multiple genres.

He is a singular talent in the industry and one of the best storytellers I know. Our partnership to identify, develop and produce elevated TV content furthers Village Roadshow Television’s commitment to bring the best stories to life,” stated Steve Mosko, Village Roadshow Entertainment Group’s CEO.

Village Roadshow Television’s Executive Vice President, Alix Jaffe, will work closely with Cranston and Degus, as well as Mosko, on driving this content initiative forward.
Cranston is a well-known actor, director, writer and producer who has created multiple series. He currently Executive Produces and stars in the Showtime breakout hit, YOUR HONOR. He received multiple Emmy Awards for his role as Walter White on the AMC crime drama Breaking Bad, where he served as a producer, for Outstanding Drama Series. Cranston won a Tony Award for Best Actor in a Play (All the Way) for his portrayal of Lyndon B. Johnson.He reprised the role of Lyndon Johnson in the television adaptation All the Way, which earned him widespread praise by critics. In 2019, Cranston won his second Tony for Best Actor in a Play (Network). For the biographical drama TRUMBO, he earned widespread acclaim and was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Actor. Cranston also appeared in several acclaimed films, such as SAVING PRIVATE RYAN, LITTLE MISS SUNSHINE, DRIVE, ARGO and GODZILLA. Cranston and Moonshot Entertainment are represented by UTA and Johnson Shapiro Slewett & Kole.
Degus is an Emmy nominated producer and has developed and executive produced series including Showtime’s hit, Your Honor, and the Amazon hit, Sneaky Pete. His executive producing credits also include Philip K. Dick’s Electric Dreams (Amazon), The Dangerous Book for Boys (Amazon) and SuperMansion (Amazon). Degus also co-executive produced HBO’s critically acclaimed film, All the Way.
